No Dem Left Behind Endorses Frederick D. Haynes for Congress in Texas’ 30th District
No Dem Left Behind is proud to endorse Frederick D. Haynes III for Congress in Texas’ 30th District.
This endorsement reflects our mission to elevate bold, justice-oriented leadership in every corner of the country, especially in districts where representation must rise to meet the urgency of this moment. TX-30 deserves a leader rooted in the community, guided by principle, and prepared to organize both inside and outside the halls of Congress.
Frederick is running on a clear vision: protect voting rights, end gerrymandering, and get dark money out of politics through publicly funded elections and strong campaign finance reform. He supports Medicare for All, a massive expansion of affordable and public housing, universal childcare, student debt relief, a wealth tax on billionaires, and a federal jobs guarantee to lower costs and build economic power in working communities.
At a time when democracy itself is under threat, Frederick is prepared to confront the biggest voting rights challenges facing our country: voter suppression, partisan gerrymandering, and the flood of dark money drowning out working people’s voices. In Congress, he will fight to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act to expand early voting, same-day registration, and vote-by-mail nationwide.
Since its founding, No Dem Left Behind has focused on building progressive power by backing candidates who are prepared to lead with conviction. From national battleground races to districts often taken for granted, we support campaigns that don’t just win, but deliver.
“He’s a leader whom candidates have turned to for endorsements for years, and the community trusts him,” said Hassan Martini, Executive Director of No Dem Left Behind. “Now that he’s running, the enthusiasm is resonating across the district, and we are honored to be a part of it.”
He is running to challenge complacency, reject politics as usual, confront concentrated wealth and corporate power, and build a fair democracy that truly works for everyone. In TX-30, that leader is Frederick D. Haynes III, and we are proud to stand with him.
